National Wear Red Day

Tomorrow February 3rd is National Wear Red Day. This event is to promote women's heart health awareness. Heart disease is still the #1 killer of women. Please wear red tomorrow and tell all the women you know to learn the symptoms of a heart attack and what the other signs of heart disease are.

The Lupus Foundation Fundraiser February 25th

We are excited to be returning to the Lupus Foundation Fundraiser again this year! This will mark our 6th year working the event held at The Extravaganza Depot.

Sybil Fawlty and Izzy Le Beau will be there reading the Tarot Cards and telling fortunes with Bones & Dice for the attendees.

Thanks to the Lupus Foundation for their awesome and hard work for the cause and for inviting us to join them at the annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser!

Summer Fun

I am looking forward to the summer and days at the pool and on the coast. I am also excited that we are working with select local restaurant/bars providing our fortune tellers to boost their beverage sales. If you have received a flyer about this and haven't responded then why not? You will be missing out on the additional revenue as well and giving entertainment to your patrons to enjoy. We often forget to say thank you to those that mean the most to us. In gratitude I want to thank Laura Sharpe for being a good friend and business associate. Laura, I truly appreciate the work you have sent my way over the years. Most of all I cherish our friendship of nearly 10 years.

That said, I would also like to thank my most recent clients Anne and Cindy for being so fun and easy to work with. I hope we will work together again.

Lupus Foundation Fundraiser 2011

We had a great time once again working at the Lupus Foundation's annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser at the Extravaganza Depot. This is our 6th year working at this event and each year the event is even more exciting. We meet so many wonderful people at this event from all walks of life and career paths. I truly enjoy this event and look forward to it every year. Thanks to all of you who had your fortunes told and kept us very busy throughout the evening. I am including photos of our two fortune tellers from that event. Of course, one of them is me (reading Tarot Cards) and one is Capt. Izzy Lebeau who reads bones and dice. Until next year..........

Mardi Gras 2011

I can't believe Mardi Gras is March 8th! It is less than 2 weeks away. Fat Tuesday is a celebration in our house complete with beads, baby cake, and of course lots of FOOD! What can possibly make the day better? Why a fortune teller of course. Helps to create the ambiance of New Orleans on this wildly festive holiday. We have quite a few parties to attend and fortunes to tell. I am told that the future is ever changing and perhaps a glimpse at the cards or bones will help you stay on the lucky path. It is all really fascinating and uncannily revealing of your personal situation. I am not sure how it works it just does. You should definitely try it sometime and see for yourself.

Well here is hoping to a safe and fun Mardi Gras to all and may the fortunes be to your liking.

Snow Again????

Okay, now I am getting a little miffed at that groundhog. I am so ready for spring. Alas he cannot dampen my high spirits over the new horizons ahead. First comes Mardi Gras followed by St Patrick's Day. Two of my personal favorite holidays. Of course any holiday that revolves around food is my favorite! We have allot in store for the future so stay tuned and let's hope for NO SNOW.

Spring Fever

Sunday’s warm temperatures have given me a serious case of “Spring Fever”. Even the gloomy last two days cannot break the spell. I hope all the Robin sightings in my yard are portends that spring is indeed here to stay. I think Charlotte has had more than it’s fair share of snow this year and it is time to move on to brighter and more colorful landscapes. Snow is after all a four-letter word!

Spring makes me want to daydream and really gets my creative juices flowing. Just thinking about the new season approaching has given me a great big idea. Why not produce an open to the public spring production our selves? Hmmmm, but just when and where? Join our email list if you are interested and I will keep you posted.
